Welcome To Offramp Updates
About two weeks ago, I returned from a month long sabbatical, expecting to hit the ground running with more news, info, products and services to help you study Metaphysics and create A Mind With Heart.
Instead, just 24 hours after arriving home on Saturday (the 5th of this month), I was at the Animal ER saying goodbye to my 17+ year friend and companion - my wolf-dog, Guinevere.
Needless to say, the past two weeks have been all about dealing with losing her, the grieving process, and what to do next with my life. She really had that much of an impact on my life... Choosing to live in the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains, where she did not have to be tied up or kept in a closed yard. Visiting every mountain, river, lake and creek in the Rogue Valley where we live. Learning all about how to feed a canine so she could enjoy the longest, healthiest, happiest life possible.
It was a lot of responsibility, and a tremendous blessing.
I know that losing a pet is a normal part of human life, and it's not the first time I have had to say goodbye to an animal I love. But for some reason, this time feels different. I feel like my whole life is being turned upside down.
And I have no idea what effect that will have on my work. All I know is that it feels like big changes are coming. I just don't know what form those changes will take, yet.
I do know that the look and feel of Metaphysics-for-Life.com needs to change. The Study Guide will no longer be "free", and it will come with more benefits. The "Heartcompass Owner's Manual" will also become part of a paid program. And there will be a new Course and Membership site for those who want to invest more in studying the nature of reality, and the role A Mind With Heart has in creating that reality.
My sabbatical in July gave me time to realize that I must provide ways for people to support my work and the service it provides. And that will be the focus of my efforts in the coming years.
All of this should start unfolding in September. I need a few more weeks to process my thoughts and feelings, and come to terms with the loss, new opportunities, and the new directions that my life, my work, and what I can offer you might take.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to see you soon "on the other side"!
